When an entrepreneur must have an address for e-Guidance – important deadlines for companies
Introduction of e-Counselling
From 1 January 2025, an e-Consignment system will be introduced, allowing for the electronic exchange of official correspondence. This system will replace traditional registered letters with acknowledgement of receipt in communication with public administration.
Timetable for implementation
The timing of the mandatory implementation of e-Guarantees varies depending on the legal form and date of registration of the company:
1. New companies registered from 1 January 2025:
– the e-Guarantee address will be set up automatically when registering in CEIDG or KRS.
2. Companies registered in CEIDG until 31 December 2024:
– obligation to have an e-delivery address from 1 October 2026.
– possibility to set up an address earlier from 1 January 2025.
– from 1 July 2025, the necessity to provide data for e-Guarantees when changing the entry in CEIDG.
3. Companies registered in the National Court Register before 1 January 2025:
– obligation to have an e-Guarantee address from 1 April 2025.
Practical examples
1. entrepreneur registered with CEIDG on 1 October 2023:
– must set up an e-Guarantee address by 1 October 2026.
– if he changes his entry in CEIDG after 1 July 2025, he must provide data for e-Guarantees on that occasion.
(2) Entrepreneur registering activity on 31 January 2025:
– must provide data for e-Guarantee already at the time of registration in CEIDG.
